Although most of my semi-abstract acrylic and oil paintings reflect a deep love of the environment, it is the colors, forms, and overall mark-making that call to me the most. As an intuitive painter, I respond to the paint itself more than rigidly adhering to any preconceived plan. Each of my paintings is an exploration.

Today's political environment has filtered into my work, and compelled me to undertake a series of graphite and charcoal drawings focused on social justice. These introspective works seem jarringly different from the immersive water paintings and dream-like, cosmic, environmental paintings for which I am better known.

And yet all of these bodies of work reflect facets of the same woman. If we are honest, no artist is simple or straightforward. We are all multifaceted creatures bound together by a common thread of what we believe, see, and notice.
